Do you use AI narration?
No. Every RazCut Studios audiobook is performed by a human narrator. We do not use AI-generated narration, voice cloning, or synthetic voices.
Do I retain ownership of my audiobook?
Yes. Your production agreement establishes that RazCut Studios does not own your audiobook rights.
Can I choose my narrator?
We select a human narrator to suit your project and discuss the casting approach with you. You can review approximately the first 15 minutes of narration before full production begins.
How long does audiobook production take?
Timelines depend on manuscript length, narrator availability, and production requirements. We will provide an estimated schedule with your custom quote.
What is a finished hour?
A finished hour is one hour of completed audiobook audio—not one hour spent recording or editing. It is commonly used to estimate production costs.
What if the narrator mispronounces something?
Before full production, you can review the opening sample for names and pronunciations. Two rounds of corrections for narrator-created errors are included in your production package.
Do you master the audiobook?
Yes. After editing and quality control, we master the audio to the specifications agreed upon for your project.
Will I receive files ready for distribution?
Yes. We prepare your final audiobook files for delivery according to the agreed specifications. Let us know your intended distribution platform when requesting a quote.
Can you produce multiple books in a series?
Yes. We can plan production across a series, including narrator continuity and consistent pronunciations. Share your series plans so we can account for them in your quote.
Do you offer Duel Narration?
No. We prefer Duet Narration over Duel. The listener's experience is much more enjoyable.
